Film Festival Project of Greater Skills is ideal for film and media students of age 13-17. It is a suitable approach to promote creativity and media, bestowing students the possibility to introduce thoughts and celebrate creative accomplishments from across the Creative and Media disciplines in a sensible setting that takes them past the classroom.

A Celebration of Young Filmmaking

Greater Skills Film Festival is a festival of young filmmaking and love of films. The program will incorporate screenings of 50 short films made by young filmmakers for every one of the students who have taken the Cine Tech Master Class.

Procedure for Video Submission

In order to submit a video, a student will have to approach a teacher first; then, the respective teacher will have to pre-approve the submission; after that, the following teacher will request access for submission of the video through email.

Requisites and Procedure of the Festival?

Currently, there is an edge of the minimum requirement of 20 batches to be present in order to start a Film Festival at Greater Skills.

Duration of Videos Submissions

Videos: All video submissions can last up to 6 minutes.

Commercials: Commercials submissions should not be any more than 35 seconds.

Documentaries: Documentaries can last up to any duration. However, only the initial 8 minutes can be submitted for the purpose of judging.

Awards Planned

In view of the number of entries, we will have first, second, and third spot winners from every grouping in each batch (K-5, 6-8, 9-12, and instructor).

Awards Planned

There will likewise be a "Best of Show" winner from each batch. The Best of Show winner will be awarded a video editing software package. All the gifts will be sponsored by local authorities.

As the sponsorship for the festival is being given by local authorities or private companies, hence the finance is promptly accessible.
