Why teach
filmmaking
to students?

Creativity & Imagination
Filmmaking is a creative tool that helps develop writing, literary, and organization skills. The act of writing a single script requires attention to detail, creativity, and imagination and is, therefore, a perfect way to help children think outside the box. Our filmmaking workshops aim to help students find their voice and help them build the confidence they will need later in life.

Team Building
Teaching filmmaking to students also helps enhance their team building, leadership, and presentation skills. Our filmmaking workshops are all-inclusive and will help students improve their communication and interpersonal skills.

How does
the workshop work?

We plan one or two-day workshops that will introduce the basics of filmmaking, including pre-production, production, and post-production.

These interactive workshops will be held in your school or community group, and all you’ll have to do is gather the students.

Let’s break down how our workshop works!

You can either book our one-day workshop or a two-day workshop. The one-day workshop provides students with the theoretical knowledge of filmmaking,

while the two-day workshop also includes experience under the guidance of a professional filming crew.

Theory of filmmaking!
The first day is dedicated to helping students understand the core concepts of filmmaking: pre-production, production, and post-production.

Students will understand the importance of script and idea development beforehand, how producers go about directing the actual scenes, and how post-production editing will affect the entire film.

By the end of the day, we aim to help students understand how complex but rewarding the entire process of filmmaking is.
Day 1
Production
The second day of our workshop is geared specifically to help students gain experience in filmmaking. The students will be divided into groups, and each will be allotted a role: Director, Cameraman, Actors, Editors, etc.

The students have complete freedom to build, direct, and produce their scripts while we guide them through the process
